Our Rainbow Baby! Due 10-29-14

So on Sunday February 23, 2014 Joe was at work. While he getting ready I had a major mood swing and said "God I'm gonna kill someone if I don't start my period and get this over with". (Just 2 days earlier I had taken a pregnancy test in which came back negative.) That afternoon something told me to take another one so I did. Needless to say I was NOT expecting a second line at all. I didn't believe it. I had to ask my grandma, uncle, and aunt what they saw before I told Joe. lol Definitely not ideal but I seriously thought I was crazy and seeing things.

My Grandma's response: "There's two lines, what does that mean?"
My Uncle: "I see two, does that mean yes?"
My Aunt: *huge grin*

So I called Joe and as soon as he answered I said "umm, I'm pregnant."
He thought I was joking until he heard my voice start shaking when I repeated myself. He wanted me to come to his job so I drove up there with it. As soon as he got in the car to look I busted into tears lol

We were both still skeptical so I went to Walgreens and got two more tests. The next morning I got up and took both and sure enough two little blue lines came up on each. So we went in to have it confirmed that afternoon.
I was 4 weeks 5 days and due on my father in laws birthday! (:

So I am currently in my two week wait for February.
 I'm on CD: 19 & I'm going to test in 4 or 5 days.
My only symptoms at the moment are:
  1. sleepy all the time to where I HAVE to take a nap or I become super bi*ch!
  2. random headaches
  3. constipation
  4. browning nipples
  5. slight random cramps
  6. face breakouts (which never happen)
I'm not sure if I feel pregnant yet, But I'm trying to stay positive. I also wanted to start documenting my symptoms so I can find a consistency if there is any.

HELD YOUR WHOLE LIFE!

So there is no surprise in knowing that once you loose a baby, people not only ignore it (and you) for not knowing what to say or do. But they also like to skip over the fact that no matter what happened a baby existed. A life was created and lost.

Jim & Larisa Barth had a baby boy named Asher Finn. After loosing him she decided to start up a non-profit business creating hand stamped necklaces which grew into key chains for daddies to memorialize the precious lives that others may be so quick to forget.

These necklaces and key chains are absolutely free. Generous donations help keep it this way. Please visit the website for more information on Asher's Story, Donations, Request a custom piece, or to become a volunteer to make the pieces.

TTC Naturally.... Helpful list of Herbs!

If you are just starting out or thinking about it, maybe just wanting to give your body a break from all the medicines and chemicals without completely stopping.  Here is a list of things I have done some researched on and I will be trying myself. (I will do a review once I have enough personal experience to speak on them and how they worked, for my body at least)

Prenatals*with folic acid-  these will help you get the vitamins and minerals you need as well as help have your body ready and healthy for when you conceive.

Vitex- this will help regulate your cycle and ovulation. This can be found alone or mixed in a supplement.

Vitamin B6- this will be very helpful is you have a luteal phase defect as it helps regulate your progesterone levels. Use caution when taking this as it's only good for those who have a defect.

Soy Isoflavones- You should use EXTREME CAUTION with this one. Only try it if you do NOT ovulate on your own. Research has found that if you take this and ovulate on your own already there is an extremely strong chance that A.) it will cause you to ovulate very late in your cycle or B.)it will cause you not to ovulate. If this occurs it may take awhile for your cycles to get back on track.

Pineapple Core- this will help with implantation! divide the pineapple core into 5 pieces. Eat one piece of the core a day for 5 days AFTER you ovulate, or undergo IVF or IUI. Do not eat it more than five days as it can become essentually detrimental to your pregnancy.

If you have PCOS:

Licorice Root or White Peony Root- this will help regulate testosterone levels.

FOR MEN:

Vitamin C & B12- this will help increase sperm count, mobility, & viability. Yay for quality swimmies!

I am in no way a medical professional, Every Person's body will react differently under different situations. Please do your own research if you feel uncomfortable or consult with your doctor before use especially if you're breastfeeding, have thyroid issues, high blood pressure, etc.
